This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how AGA DOORS processes, ships, and delivers your order, and what steps you must take to protect your rights in the event of shipping damage or delivery issues.

Order Processing

All in-stock items are prepared for shipping within 24–48 hours after payment confirmation. Custom orders have a lead time of 45–65 days from the date the order is placed. You will be notified by email or phone when your order has shipped.

Delivery Timeframes

  • Deliveries within California: typically 2–3 business days after shipment.
  • Deliveries outside California: typically 7–10 business days after shipment.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. AGA DOORS is not responsible for carrier delays.

Freight Delivery β€” Your Responsibilities

Our products are large, heavy items shipped via freight carrier. Please note the following:

  • The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. You are responsible for being available at the scheduled time.
  • We recommend having at least two additional individuals available to assist the driver in unloading and moving items to your location.
  • Shipping rates are calculated based on the size and weight of the products and will be displayed at checkout.

Freight & Shipping Damage

Inspect your order at the time of delivery before signing. By following these steps you protect your right to file a damage claim:

  • Visible damage (24-hour rule): If you observe any damage to the packaging or products at the time of delivery, you must: (1) note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before the driver leaves; (2) take photos of all damage immediately; and (3) contact AGA DOORS within 24 hours of delivery at info@agadoors.com or (818) 835-0101. Failure to note visible damage on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery may void your freight damage claim with the carrier.
  • Hidden or concealed damage (5-day rule): If damage is discovered after delivery that was not visible at the time of receipt, you must report it to AGA DOORS within five (5) days of delivery. Reports made after this window will be treated as confirmation that the order arrived in good condition, and no damage claim will be accepted.
  • Missing items: Any missing items must be reported within five (5) days of delivery.

When reporting damage or missing items, please include: your order number, photos of the damage and packaging, and a written description of the issue.

Refused Deliveries

Refusing a shipment upon delivery is treated as a standard return. All standard return policies and fees β€” including the 25% restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs β€” will apply.

Unclaimed & Undeliverable Orders

  • If an order cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, missed delivery appointments, or failure to respond to carrier scheduling, the order may be held at the carrier’s facility.
  • AGA DOORS must be notified within seven (7) days of the first delivery attempt to reschedule delivery.
  • Storage fees charged by the carrier for unclaimed orders are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Orders that remain unclaimed or undeliverable for more than 30 days may be canceled and returned to AGA DOORS. In such cases, the order will be processed as a return and subject to the 25% restocking fee and non-refundable shipping costs.

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on product dimensions and delivery location.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases of verified manufacturer defects or carrier-caused damage where AGA DOORS is found at fault.

Credit Card Processing Fee

A 3.5% credit card processing fee applies to all payments made by card. This fee is non-refundable and will be clearly displayed at checkout prior to payment, in compliance with California Business & Professions Code Β§ 17045.
