WARRANTY POLICY
This limited warranty applies to aluminum products manufactured by AGA Doors. AGA Doors Inc. produces products in accordance with the specifications provided by distributors for use by original end users in residential or commercial applications. This warranty is subject to the limitations and conditions stated herein. Products are warranted to be free from defects that would render them unserviceable or unsuitable for normal, recommended use for five (5) years from the Invoice Date for residential applications and two (2) years from the Invoice Date for commercial applications. The Invoice Date refers to the date listed on the invoice provided by AGA Doors to the purchasing party.
This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to the original User of the Product and is non-transferable. No distributor, dealer, or representative has the authority to modify or change this Limited Warranty.
Installation is solely the responsibility of the distributor, user, contractor, or their representative. AGA Doors Inc. disclaims all responsibility and liability for work performed by third parties, including distributors, users, contractors, customers, and/or installers. This warranty is void if the Product is altered or modified in any way other than as received or as stated on the invoice.
If a Product is deemed defective under the conditions of this Limited Warranty, AGA Doors Inc., at its sole discretion, will: (1) repair the Product; or (2) replace the Product in its original condition as supplied to the distributor. If the Product is replaced, the warranty for the replacement Product will be limited to the remainder of the original Productβs warranty period. AGA Doors Inc. will not be responsible for labor costs, installation, finishing of replacement products, or any other expenses, fees, losses, delays, or damages related to the replacement of the Product. All such costs are the responsibility of the claimant. Should AGA Doors Inc. conduct any on-site warranty work, the claimant must provide safe access to the repair site and assume all costs, coordination, and liability for necessary equipment for safe access, worker safety, and well-being during the work process. All defects must be reported within five (5) days of Product delivery; otherwise, the Product will be considered acceptable and free of defects.
After the 5-day period, AGA Doors offers a one-time replacement of defective hardware at no cost. However, shipping is the responsibility of the distributor, user, contractor, or their representative. The defective hardware must be returned to AGA Doors at the specified address with all accessories, parts, and documentation included, within fourteen (14) days of receiving the replacement hardware. AGA Doors will require a payment card number to initiate a warranty-based return. Failure to return the defective hardware within the specified time frame will result in a charge to the provided card. This process represents the sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this Limited Warranty.
Distributors, users, customers, contractors, installers, and/or finishers are responsible for thoroughly inspecting the Product for consistency with the order before removing or damaging existing doors from the structure. If the Product does not meet order specifications, it must not be installed, and AGA Doors must be notified to facilitate the return for correction. Under no circumstances should a Product requiring correction be installed.
